Description
Commonly called the Peruvian Lily, Lily of the Incas or Parrot Lily the alstroemeria flower is a South American genus of about 50 species of flowering plants, mainly from the cool mountainous regions in the Andes.
They are usually grown in flowerbeds for a colorful pallet, or used in floral arrangements. Although they are not fragrant, these flowers can last up to two weeks after being cut, thus making them an excellent choice for bouquets.
